Personal growth takes place when we have

Freed ourselves from the negative influences of personal past experiences
Reconstructed ourselves on the basis of who we truly are and wish to become
Modified our behaviour to express ourselves in the most appropriate way
Hence realizing our potential to the full in all life spheres relevant to us.

4. the challenges

It is when considering

(1) The degree of corruption within various governments and business organizations,
(2) The ongoing catastrophic conflicts within and between countries
(3) The loss of lives and maiming of innocent people through criminal assaults,
(4) The suffering of civilians in the absence of sufficient daily meals for them and their children,
(5) The dogmatic and scientifically unexamined decision-making by local and national leaders –

– that people should seriously re-assess the quality of their life’s vision,
